Spring House at Rock Ford by Richard Slaugh
Vince's great grandfather was a local painter who painted several scenes at Rock Ford. Vince's family owns a number of his paintings. This painting recently went up on ebay and Vince was able to purchase it to hang in our home! How exciting to have a family painting of the location where we will hold our reception. This is a view of the house from the spring house, which was later demolished by a flood.

Congrats to you both on a great find!!! Not only to find an ancestor's artwork, but to find one of the place you're getting married! How wonderful! The Rock Ford plantation site looks like a great site for a reception! I bet the main house looks great inside!!!
